Barça Ready for First Game at Renovated Camp Nou on Saturday

The club confirmed they are set to host at the partially upgraded Camp Nou over the weekend. The club will host the Bilbao team in the Spanish league over two years after they moved out for construction to commence.

“We’ve dreamed about the return. Now, it’s here. We’re back home. Back at Spotify Camp Nou.”

The stadium will not be at full capacity but 45,401 spectators can be present based on approved permits. Once fully finished, the stadium’s capacity will reach almost 105,000 spectators, a rise from the old capacity. The club said completed upgrades featured a renovated tunnel for players and new dressing rooms.

Preparatory Events

Barça organized a public practice inside the stadium earlier this month. Officials stated they are seeking authorization from Uefa to host the next European match versus the German side in December at the stadium. Their recent games have been held in the temporary ground.
